Drawing Center Opening Tonight at 6pm

The Drawing Center is a very cool gallery on Wooster in Soho--they were supposed to move to the new WTC site. However, controversary erupted over a show they curated in which the artists dared to comment on the current administration. Further more, there was a piece that made reference to the terrorists in a way that could be seen as "not negative". I'm not quoting anyone there, just trying to make sense of what turned into weeks of headlines, and well, as far as I know the Drawing Center has backed out of the move.
